Foodies Give Vadodara Street Vendor’s Avocado Toast (Rs 250) A Thumbs Up

Avocado toast is still a well-liked and tasty alternative for breakfast or a snack, providing an easy-to-make but versatile approach to take advantage of avocado’s health advantages. Due to its delicious flavor and nutritional advantages, this fruit might be fairly pricey for certain people depending on where they live, but over time, it has become a mainstay on brunch menus and kitchens all around the globe. A food seller in Vadodara, Gujarat, is serving “street style avocado toast,” bringing the flavor and health benefits of avocados—which are a nutritional powerhouse—to Indian streets.

The pricing and level of cleanliness the seller was maintaining astounded the internet when a video of the food blogger went viral recently. The food blogger said in the video that this avocado toast is sold by the seller for a little Rs 250.

A culinary blogger posted a video that has gone viral showing how to make avocado toast at a clean street vendor. The YouTube video shows the street seller transporting boxes of ripe avocados from his vehicle to his food station while upholding stringent cleanliness requirements. After that, butter-covered bread pieces are cooked on a griddle until they become golden brown. Then he delicately slices the avocado in half, then removes and mashes the creamy flesh into a dish.

The chef then adds green chutney, salt, and freshly squeezed lemon juice to the mashed avocados, giving the toast an Indian flair. Then he adds the finely chopped onions and tomatoes to the mixture, mixing them together with skill. After toasting to perfection, liberally pour the avocado mixture on top. A last flourish consists of a scattering of other seeds to round out the flavor.

Since its February 9 release on YouTube, the film has received a lot of attention, accumulating almost 6.7 million views. Most viewers were shocked to see a street seller offering such a luxury breakfast choice, so they flocked the comment area with their thoughts on the film, expressing their curiosity and enthusiasm. While some praised the street seller for upholding cleanliness, others questioned if the low price of the toast was hurting the vendor’s bottom line.

One user highlighted the street vendor’s greatest qualities, saying, “The best parts are that it is healthy and clean, and there is no cheese.”

One user said, “I hope adding other ingredients doesn’t compromise avocado’s beautiful flavor and character.”

“The best thing is avocado toast with pudina chutney,” one user said.

One person said, “I never thought avocado toast would be an Indian street food.”

A person expressed worry at the high cost of avocados, writing, “I hope they’re not facing loss.” In India, one avocado costs 300.

“At last, something delicious. Without additional cheese and daba ke makhaan,” one review said.

Others commented on, saying they could not wait to sample this vendor’s avocado toast.
