This Kolkata Man Is Serving Some Sweet Memories For 90s Kids With Aam Papad And Imli Candies

How can we forget the significance of those sour and sweet sweets in making our childhood memories even sweeter among all of the tiny and significant events that occurred? The recollections of buying and savoring the chocolates and toffees, which were packaged in translucent wrappers, are among the 90s youngsters’ most sentimental ones. There are many memories associated with these candy. We recently saw a video on social media go viral that made us feel nostalgic as we saw a guy selling all of our favorite sweets, including imli candies, hajmolas, aam pachak, and aam papad.

A blogger published the vendor’s video from Kolkata on Instagram, and it immediately caught everyone’s attention. The seller, who goes by the name Mohmin and has been operating the booth for the last 22 years, is renowned for producing handmade sweets including homemade aam papad, imli candies, and churan, all of which have a distinct new-world appeal.

Visitors of all ages are swarming the business, which Mohmin has been operating for more than 20 years. The candy stand is located in the Vardhaan market lane in front of the Lifeline Nursing Home.

The candy is being offered at “exact old prices” as previously, according to the video.

Kids from the 1990s who were feeling nostalgic immediately posted their thoughts in the comment area after seeing the video. Some people also shared their own childhood experiences.
