Trending: A Man Discovers Insects in a Flipkart-sent Makhana packet

Despite the fact that online marketplaces have a large client base, there has also been an increase in the strange deliveries that consumers sometimes get. Customers often complain about fraudulent or improper purchases they got after shopping via online platforms. These complaints may range from obtaining the wrong goods to empty parcels and sometimes even damaged items. In one such strange story that has surfaced lately, a guy was surprised to get a package of makhana loaded with live insects after ordering it from an online retailer. The consumer, identified as Siddharth Shah, posted information about the purchase on the e-commerce portal Flipkart on the social networking platform X (formerly Twitter).

Siddharth shared his complaints and dissatisfaction with the transaction, describing how he placed an order on Flipkart for a package of makhana but ended up getting what seemed to be an outdated product. He was shocked to see live bugs and tiny insects inside the makhana package when he opened it. Additionally, the client sent images of the makhana that had insects crawling all over them. The consumer voiced his dissatisfaction with Flipkart’s service and said that there is no return policy for the purchase.

“I placed an order on Flipkart for Farmley Premium Phool Makhana. I discovered little insects and living bugs when I opened the item. It’s terrible to experience this. Moreover, the product does not have a return policy,” he stated.

Siddharth then posted an update revealing that he has gotten a reimbursement from Flipkart, despite the company’s original response asking about the post. Along with the update, the e-commerce site apologized for any inconvenience on social media. It said, “We would like to address the concern related to the order cancellation and we are sorry that you had such an experience with us.”

Meanwhile, a number of comments were made on the post by individuals on social media. Some even suggested that the buyer make these kinds of transactions offline. A commenter commented, “This is why people consider buying stuff offline better than online stuff,” while another said, “Bro never ordered food products from Flipkart, same happened with me they sent an expired item.”

“Organic makhana,” one user joked, while another questioned whether the product was non-vegetarian. More than 100,000 people have seen the post and hundreds of others have liked and commented on it.
