UK man, 37, imprisoned for killing his father, 72

Even individuals you thought were your loved ones might turn on you at times. Anything might cause such betrayal, such as a little disagreement or any other private motive. A guy from the UK offered to kill his father for five thousand pounds (about Rs. 5.2 lakh), but he chose to carry out the murder himself.

37 years old After a brutal assault, Austin Duckworth murdered his 72-year-old father, Stephen. The Daily Star claims that Austin stormed into his father’s house and repeatedly struck him in the head. He’s spent seventeen years behind bars.

Austin failed to appear when Judge Medland KC was giving him a life sentence. Furthermore, he refused to even answer questions in the Preston Crown Court witness box. Instead, he denied ever going to his father’s house on August 12, 2023, in a written statement he gave them as part of his defense.

According to further stories, he was prohibited from going onto his father’s land because of his exceptionally aggressive and violent behavior, especially against his father. When Austin’s plea for his walking boots was turned down when he went to his father’s house on August 26, 2023, he smashed down the door and “pummelled” him in the corridor.

Stephen was taken to a hospital after managing to contact someone for help and discovering that he had suffered a “devastating bleed to the brain.” October 12 was his death date, from his wounds. According to the Daily Star, “blunt force trauma” was determined to be the cause of death.

According to Judge Medland KC’s conclusion, Austin Duckworth intended to do significant harm to his father. His strange messages—among which was the offer of a prize for killing his father—were a sign of an unstable mental state. The court went on to say that Austin’s father had evicted him from their house because of behavior seen to be “unacceptable, aggressive, threatening, and deeply, deeply troubling” during the previous three years.
