Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan honors seasoned director Sangeeth Sivan

Thiruvananthapuram (Kerala), India: On Wednesday, famous director Sangeeth Sivan passed away, and Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan expressed her condolences.

He described Sangeeth Sivan as an extraordinary filmmaker who elevated the craft of filmmaking to new heights. His passing is a huge loss for Indian cinema.

VD Satheesan, the head of the opposition in Kerala, also sent his sympathies for Sangeeth Sivan’s passing.

On Wednesday, filmmaker Sangeeth Sivan passed away.

Sanjeev Sivan, the brother of Sangeeth Sivan, verified the news of his death.

According to Sanjeev Sivan, the director of “Kya Kool Hai Hum,” who was receiving treatment for a urinary infection at Kokilaben Hospital in Mumbai, sadly passed away on Wednesday from a cardiac attack.

The surviving family members of Sangeeth Sivan, the oldest son of photographer and cinematographer Sivan, are his wife Jayashree and his two daughters, Shanthanu and Sanjana.

Actor Sunny Deol, who costarred with Sangeeth Sivan in “Yamla Pagla Deewana 2,” went to X to express his condolences upon learning of the filmmaker’s passing.

“I’m shocked to learn of my beloved friend @sangeethsivan’s loss. It’s hard to think you’re not with us anymore, but you’ll always be in our hearts and memories. Sunny commented, “May your family find the fortitude to get beyond your loss, Om Shanti, my friend.

A heartfelt message was also written by actor Riteish Deshmukh in honor of Sangeeth Sivan.

He posted on X, saying, “I’m really grieved and astonished to see that Sangeeth Sivan Sir is no longer with us. I’m really grateful to him for Kya Kool Hai Hum & Apna Sapna Money Money. All a newbie wants is someone to believe in them and give them a chance. She is kind, soft-spoken, and an amazing person. I’m devastated today; please accept my sincere sympathies for his wife, children, brothers, and other family members. You will be missed, Da! And your contagious laugh! Rest in splendor.

Regarding his career, Sangeeth Sivan directed the Malayalam motion pictures “Yoddha,” “Nirnayam, Gandharvam,” and “Vyuham.” He helmed eight Hindi motion pictures.
