The Bihar D.El.Ed registration and exam schedule for 2024 has been revised by the Bihar School of Education Board (BSEB). According to the board, the D.El.Ed. course online application process will open on January 24 and close on February 6, 2024. It is encouraged that candidates apply during this time. Applicants may visit secondary.biharboardonline.com and deledbihar.com, the official websites of the Bihar School Examination Board, for further information.

In addition to modifying the application deadline, the board decided to push back the dates of the D.El.Ed. first and second-year exams. The first-year examinations will now take place from June 1 to June 7, 2024, in accordance with the revised timetable. Furthermore, the second-year exams are scheduled for May 27, 2024, through May 30, 2024. Compared to the original timetable, this is a considerable alteration. The first-year exams were originally planned to take place from July 10 to July 16, and the second-year exams were supposed to take place from July 18 to July 22, 2024. It is recommended that applicants monitor the website in case there are any more modifications.

On May 12, 2024, the board is anticipated to distribute the admission card. It is required of applicants to carry their admission card on the day of the D.El.Ed test. Those without an admission card will not be allowed to sit the test. In addition, the board plans to publish the results of the D.El.Ed test in September 2024. To access and see the results, candidates will need to provide their registration ID and password.

Candidates for the Bihar D.El.Ed programs must have a Class 12 grade point average of 50% (45% for restricted categories) in order to be considered. Admission to DElEd is not available to candidates with Sashtri, Polytechnic, or ITI certificates.

The country’s in-service elementary and upper primary school teachers are the target audience for the Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) program. The Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India, took the initiative to design the program, which was developed by the Academic Department of NIOS. The goal of the program is to assist the target group in gaining knowledge, abilities, and skills to enhance instruction and learning.
