Nitish Kumar only discussed sex education throughout his speech: Amid criticism, the deputy chief medical officer explains

As he discussed the need of women’s education for population control on Tuesday in the Assembly, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has come under fire for allegedly using disparaging language. As the video gained widespread attention on social media and several female MLAs from Bihar voiced their disapproval of the chief minister’s wording, deputy chief minister Tejashwi Yadav said that misinterpreting Nitish Kumar’s remarks is incorrect. “Allow me to explain. The chief minister was discussing sex education, I believe. People become apprehensive about this subject, although science and biology classes in schools teach about it. Kids pick this up. He discussed the practical steps that must be taken to manage the population. Tejashwi said, “This should be seen as sex education rather than in the improper context.

Bihar BJP posted the video on their X account, referring to him as “AslilNitish” and claiming that Nitish Kumar is the most repulsive politician in Indian politics. “Nitish Kumar is the most obscene leader in Indian politics that anyone has ever seen.” Nitish Babu’s mind seems to be infected by the “B” grade adult film bug. His conversations with many meanings need to be prohibited in public. It seems that his firm has an impact on him,” the article said.

“The Chief Minister has made inane statements and is beyond 70 years old. He used a term that none of us can say. “We women will all demonstrate,” BJP MLA Gayatri Devi said.

The National Commission for Women referred to Nitish Kumar’s remark as an insult to women’s dignity and demanded an urgent apology. “NCW demands that CM Nitish Kumar issue an urgent and sincere apologies on behalf of all women in our nation. His crude comments made in the Vidhan Sabha offend the decency and respect that all women are entitled to. The crude and disparaging language he used in his speech is a disgrace to our civilization. One can only image the agony the state must be going through under his leadership if a leader in a democracy can say such things so freely. The NCW issued a statement saying, “We stand firm against such behavior and call for accountability.”
According to the Caste Survey report, which was presented to the Bihar parliament on Tuesday, over 33% of households in the state make less than ₹200 per day, or a maximum of ₹6,000 per month. On Tuesday, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar declared his intention to increase the state’s quotas for Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and Other Backward Classes. He said that legislation implementing this plan will probably be introduced during the current assembly session.
