Bihar School schedules: On Tuesday, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar said that government school schedules would be adjusted. The revised hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. (six hours). Following his assurance to the assembly that the current eight-hour school day at government-run schools will be cut by two hours, this has happened.

“School hours for academic pursuits should be limited to 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. He said that it shouldn’t be from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. He said, “Yeh galat hai (this is wrong)” in reference to the current school schedule.

“I’ll give the department’s capable officer a call right now and tell him to adjust the times. It is you opposition members who ought to have informed me sooner. The revised hours are now set for 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., according to Kumar.

The new school schedule was announced by the education department in November of last year, and it took effect on December 1.

The recommendations included information on class schedules as well as the disciplinary actions that would be taken against instructors who did not adhere to the new schedule.
