Bihar Lok Sabha Election 2024: Bhagalpur Constituency: Important Species, Election Date, and Voting Schedule

Bihar has forty Lok Sabha constituencies, including Bhagalpur. Currently serving as the constituency’s representative is Janta Dal United (JDU) politician Ajay Kumar Mandal, who is running for office again in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. The date of the Lok Sabha election was declared by the Election Commission on March 16. On April 26, the constituency will have its second round of elections.

Mandal Ajay Kumar In the 2019 election, Janta Dal United member defeated Rashtriya Jal Dal (RJD) candidate Shailesh Kumar. Shailesh Kumar received 3,40624 votes, while Ajay Kumar received 6,18,254 votes. He prevailed by a 34% margin. Out of all voters, Santosh Kumar received 59% of the vote, while Uday Singh, his opponent, received 33%.
