Nitish’s speculation of early Lok Sabha elections is dismissed by Giriraj

Nitish Kumar, the chief minister of Bihar, had suggested that early elections for the Lok Sabha, but it was denied by Union minister Giriraj Singh on Thursday.

The prospect of holding the elections early next year could not be ruled out, according to Kumar, the JD(U) party’s supreme leader, who announced so on Wednesday.

It’s wonderful to see that Nitish Kumar has evolved into a soothsayer, said Singh, who represents the state’s Begusarai Lok Sabha constituency.

The BJP official also used a traditional Bihari adage that roughly translates to mean, “He who cannot fix his own marriage, goes about playing the matchmaker.”

Similarly, he said, “Nitish Kumar is unable to lead Bihar but shows a keen interest in matters outside his state.”

However, Singh deflected queries from reporters on the opposition meeting set for this location on June 23 and the accusation made by the Mahagathbandhan, which is the governing party, that JP Nadda, the head of the BJP, and Amit Shah, the union home minister, organised their visits soon after “out of fear”.
