The Force Gurkha 5-door is about to be released in the Indian market by Force Motors. An online publication of the first teaser photograph has occurred. The 5-door Gurkha has been undergoing testing by the firm for a while, and our sources indicate that the SUV will be on sale in May 2024. From the exterior, the Gurkha 5-door and 3-door have the same design. It comes with the same front end, headlights, snorkel, bumpers, and tail lamps. The 5-door gains a larger wheelbase, two more doors, freshly designed alloy wheels with A/T tyres, and an increase in length.

Going inside, the design is identical to that of the three-door model. It has a cabin with a grey motif, manual air conditioning controls, and a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system similar to the Gurkha. The preceding five-door Gurkha spy receives captain seats for the third row and a bench seat in the second. Additionally, it is anticipated that Force will provide a variety of seating alternatives, such as captain seats for the second row and seats facing the opposite direction for the third.

In terms of the drivetrain, the five-door Gurkha will be equipped with the same 2.6-litre common-rail turbo diesel engine from Mercedes, which generates 90 horsepower and 250 Nm of torque. It will also be mated to a five-speed manual gearbox.

It is anticipated that Force will provide a five-door Gurkha with a standard 4×4 equipped with a manual front and rear locking differential and low-range transmission. Force is anticipated to begin selling this SUV for Rs 16 lakh (ex-showroom). The five-door Gurkha’s primary rivals upon introduction will be the forthcoming Mahindra Thar five-door and the Maruti Jimny five-door.
