Atri told police after questioning that software developers and engineers were among his assistants. According to TOI, an investigator with knowledge of the investigation said, “We have not yet received information from him regarding which exam he was planning to rig in the future.”

Rajeev Nayan Mishra, one of Atri’s collaborators, used to hack online tests on his own, according to STF sources who spoke with TOI. Mishra, who was previously taken into custody, broke into a Mumbai-based private company’s network.

This specific organization was contracted to administer the NHM test in Madhya Pradesh in 2023, according to the report. The STF is now getting ready to dispatch a team to Gangtok to seize Atri’s gear in cooperation with the Sikkim police.
