Designed in India Details about Honda Elevate’s native country Japan introduction as the WR-V

Under the WR-V brand, Honda has introduced the “Made in India” Elevate to the Japanese market. This significant event is the first time an HCIL model has been sent from India to Japan, demonstrating the nation’s expanding manufacturing capacity and rising international competitiveness. In Japan, the Honda WR-V is priced between 2,098,800 and 2,489,300 yen.

In September of last year, Elevate made its world premiere. Sales of the model have exceeded 30,000 units in only the last six months. India was the first country to get the model.
The 1.5-liter, four-cylinder, 121 horsepower, 145 Nm petrol engine powering the Elevate is the same as the one powering the City. It may be mated to a 6-speed manual or a 7-step CVT automatic gearbox to provide power to the front wheels.

Customers who enjoy the vehicle’s distinctive SUV form, powerful road presence, exceptional room and comfort, cutting-edge safety systems, and well-appointed offers have responded enthusiastically to the model since it was unveiled as the Honda WR-V in Japan in December 2023, the firm said in a statement.
In the past, HCIL has exported models from its portfolio to markets with left-hand drive, such as Turkey, Mexico, and the Middle East, and right-hand drive, including Nepal, Bhutan, South Africa, and SADC nations. The Honda Elevate is the most recent product that HCIL has exported from India to Japan.
