A new Innova Hycross vehicle from Toyota is expected to be released shortly.

The petrol version of this automobile has just recently received a few lower-end trims, while the hybrid engine model has been acquiring several features that are drawn from its higher-end equivalents.

Everything is likely to change, however, as the official website of the Japanese automaker now lists a new GX (O) version of the Innova Hycross.

According to the Hindustan Times, the launch is scheduled to happen in early April and is anticipated to happen in a few days. There will be seven- and eight-seater versions of the new trim available.

Features of the Toyota Innova Hycross GX (O)
In comparison to its current variants, the Toyota Hycross’s new GX (O) variation will be loaded with more modern equipment. It has a 10.1-inch touchscreen (available only on seven-seater models), automated temperature control, LED front fog lights, and a retractable rear sunshade (available only on seven-seater models). A more compact 8-inch touchscreen will be included in the GX (O) eight-seater version.

POWERTRAIN: TOYOTA INNOVA HYCROSS GX (O)
The 2.0-liter, four-cylinder, naturally aspirated Toyota Innova Hycross GX (O) is probably going to be the vehicle’s powerplant. With these parameters, 173 horsepower and 209 Nm of torque should be produced. Along with the engine will be a standard CVT automatic gearbox that solely powers the front wheels. There is a hybrid version of the Hycross available as well, with a 2.0-liter engine that generates 182 horsepower. Here, the motor has an eCVT automatic gearbox that also functions as a generator starter. Lower fuel and pollution costs are promised with this hybrid engine option.

The price of the Toyota Innova Hycross GX (O)
The official price of the forthcoming Innova Hycross GX (O) has not yet been disclosed by Toyota. It will probably cost more than the GX trim now available. In India, the basic GX trim variation costs around Rs 19 lakh. However, the G version may only be used for business purposes. The Hycross hybrid model ranges in price from Rs 25 lakh to Rs 30 lakh for the ZX (O) version. The GX (O) version of the vehicle shouldn’t cost more than Rs 21 lakh, considering the prices of their existing versions. All costs are ex-showroom.

The Innova Hycross competes with vehicles such as the XUV700, Tata Safari, and MG Hector Plus in the premium MPV sector, while it does not directly compete with other automakers in this market.
