India Teased for the Launch of the Honor Porsche Design Magic 6 RSR and Magic 6 Ultimate: Learn More

Earlier this week, Honor introduced the new Porsche Design Magic 6 RSR and Magic 6 Ultimate in China, updating its Magic 6 portfolio. It seems that the corporation is now prepared to release these expensive gadgets in areas such as India.

Yes, by asking customers what they would want to see Honor release as its next product in India, HTech CEO Madhav Sheth has hinted at the release of these devices. He suggested the Honor Magic 6 Ultimate Edition or the Porsche Design Magic 6 RSR. Which invention do you like to see introduced in India first?,” he wrote.

This week, Honor debuted the Magic 6 RSR in China. The vehicle’s design was influenced by Porsche racing vehicles. One of its features is a hexagon-shaped camera island that was made in collaboration with a well-known design company. Magic6 Ultimate, which made its debut with the luxury car brand but had a distinctive rear panel design made of composite fiber, was also influenced by it.

The primary camera sensor on both phones is an improved H9800 model, which retains a 50MP resolution but has a higher dynamic range of 15EV. Honor adds that the improved Magic 6 RSR autofocus allows for faster and more accurate focus locks.

The 6.80-inch full-HD display on the Honor Porsche Design Magic 6 RSR and Magic 6 Ultimate runs Android 14 with the MagicOS 8.0 interface. Its LTPO screen allows for an adaptive refresh rate of 120 Hz and a resolution of 1,280 x 2,800 pixels. Both variants are equipped with a 4nm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor.

On their back are three camera modules, the most prominent of which is a 180 MP periscope telephoto sensor that supports both a 100x digital zoom and optical image stabilization (OIS).

Along with a 50MP wide-angle front camera, the Honor Porsche Design Magic 6 RSR and Magic 6 Ultimate also come equipped with a 3D depth sensor. They support both 80W wired and 66W wireless charging, and they include a 5,600mAh battery. Honor has set the pricing of the Magic 6 RSR for the single 24GB RAM + 1TB model at CNY 9,999 (about Rs 1,15,200). However, the 16GB + 512GB variant of the Magic 6 Ultimate costs CNY 6,999 (about Rs. 80,600) in the area. When and if Htech releases these gadgets in India, it is unclear how much they will cost.
