Stock Market News: Hero MotoCorp, Kotak Mahindra Bank, and Sensex Fall 111 points and 22,453 points, respectively

Sensex is down 111 points; Nifty closes at 22,453; the biggest blue-chip losers are Hero MotoCorp and Kotak Mahindra Bank, both down 2%.

The BSE Sensex closed at 73,903.91, down 110.64 points, or 0.15 percent. The NSE Nifty ended at 22,453.30, down 8.70 points, or 0.04 percent.

At 47,545.45, the Nifty Bank index, which is based on data from 12 banking companies, finished 0.07 percent down, or 32.80 points down.
Each of the Nifty Midcap100 and Smallcap100 increased by more than 1%.
Gainers in the Stock Market
The stock market winners included M&M, Nestle India, Tata Motors, IndusInd Bank, SBI, and Tata Steel.
Stock Market Losers The laggards were Sun Pharma, Infosys, Kotak Mahindra Bank, HCL Tech, ICICI Bank, and Airtel.
Stocks Are Soaring During Today’s Trade
HCL Technologies Ltd. (HCLTECH) Stock: At ₹1531.00, the company’s share price is down 1.65% from the previous closing of ₹1556.70.

Stock of Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd.
At ₹1757.00, Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd. (KOTAKBANK) was down 1.88% from the previous closing of ₹1790.70.

Opening Stock Market
At 74,024.45, the BSE Sensex began flat with a positive bias, up 9.90 points, or 0.01 percent. At 22,458.80, the Nifty50 index also began the day lower than it ended—a decrease of 3.20 points, or 0.01 percent.

Market for Stocks April 1st
The 30-share BSE Sensex increased 363.20 points, or 0.49 percent, to close at 74,014.55 on April 1, the third day in a row. It had also reached its record intra-day high of 74,254.62, touching 603.27 points, or 0.81 percent.
