Welspun Corp is granted a Letter of Agreement to sell line pipes valued at Rs 611 crore to Latin America

Welspun Corp said on Wednesday that it has obtained a letter of award (LOA) for the export of Indian line pipes. It further said that the deal is for the delivery of LSAW bends, coating, and pipes across Latin America.

We are happy to announce that the binding Letter of Award (LOA) for the export of line pipes from India has been received. The business said in a regulatory filing that the deal, which is valued at about Rs 611 Crore, is for the delivery of LSAW Pipes, Coating, and Bends throughout Latin America.

Welspun Corp got several line pipe orders earlier this week from both India and the USA, totaling around Rs 872 million. The business claimed to have received orders for multiple-line pipes within the previous month.

It further said that one of these contracts was for the provision of bends and concrete-coated LSAW pipes for a crucial oil transportation project in the Middle East. According to Welspun Corp, the line pipes are intended for use in very sour service applications.

The primary business activity of Welspun Corp is the production and distribution of steel and steel-related goods.
