At CinemaCon, Deadpool and Wolverine tease fans with a hilarious clip titled “Silence Your Cellphones.”

There is an unmatched degree of enthusiasm for Wolverine and Deadpool. The Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman movie has created more buzz than any other movie since it was first reported to be happening. The film’s makers made an appearance at CinemaCon in Las Vegas, where they screened a 9-minute-long, never-before-seen clip from the Shawn Levy-directed movie. They initially unveiled the first teaser for the movie during Super Bowl 2024. And not just that.

Marvel showed out a humorous clip of Deadpool making a joke about Avengers: Secret Wars to attendees prior to the release of new footage featuring Wolverine and Deadpool. In the video, Wolverine and Ryan Reynolds’s characters can be heard stating, “So, I heard Secret Wars is finally going to be introduced…” as they travel down a tunnel. But he is cut off by a ringing phone.

Finally losing patience, Wolverine turned to face the camera, laughing that this was a movie theater and not “your grandma’s nursing home,” and he started tossing (bleeping) F-bombs in the direction of the audience. Before he would quit, Deadpool needed to soothe Wolverine.

The CinemaCon teaser is allegedly intended for theatrical release, according to a Hollywood Reporter source, but the Marvel/Deadpool team is keeping quiet about it at the moment.

Deadpool has previously encountered Avengers: Secret Wars. Reynolds’ character is seen in the first Deadpool & Wolverine teaser just resting down in the Void before Wolverine approaches Deadpool. Adjacent to him is the 2015 Marvel Comics Secret Wars comic book event.

In the nine-minute film, Wade is shown quitting his heroic career, according to ComicBook.com. These days, he works as a used vehicle salesman. When we next see him, it’s during his birthday party when he warns Blind AI against doing cocaine. Wade is captured by TVA. He wakes in an office next to Matthew MacFadyen’s persona. He tells Deadpool that he’s been chosen for a special assignment that will protect the holy timeline.

In the video, Deadpool salutes Chris Evans’s character, Captain America. Here’s Chris Hemsworth, who portrays Thor, crying over his death in a video. He is reassured by Macfadyen, “That happens in the far future.” Declares, “I am Marvel Jesus,” Deadpool. As the video comes to an end, Deadpool is given a new super costume.

According to reports, it is directly related to Avengers: Secret Wars, the Multiverse Saga’s finale and now the largest upcoming Marvel movie.

The release date of Deadpool & Wolverine is set for July 26, 2024.
