Big Update on Housefull 5: Akshay Kumar Will Start Filming in January 2024, Creators Have Locked ‘Core Plot’

One of the most well-known film series is Housefull, and fans have been excitedly awaiting the release of its fifth installment ever since it was revealed. According to recent reports, the producers of Housefull 5 have nailed down the “core plot” and are scheduled to start filming in January 2024. According to Pinkvilla, on January 15, 2024, Akshay Kumar will begin shooting Housefull 5.

“Akshay and Sajid are both linked to the Housefull franchise. They have both hit on a topic that not only elevates the stakes in this crazy cap comedy but also does justice to the universe of it. According to a source used by the entertainment site, “the core plot is locked and pre-production is underway to take the film on floors with the first schedule from January 15.” But as of right now, no formal statement has been made about this.

This occurs a few days after the Housefull 5 producers asked everyone to hold off on making any speculations regarding the cast of the movie in their official announcement. “As there are a lot of rumors circulating about the cast of Housefull 5, we respectfully ask media outlets to hold off on making any hasty announcements at this time. We will shortly formally reveal the celebrity cast, according to the Nadiadwala Grandson announcement.

Akshay Kumar and Riteish Deshmukh are the only confirmed names for Housefull 5 at this time. Rumor has it that Bobby Deol, John Abraham, and Abhishek Bachchan will also probably feature in the next film.

In the 2010 release of the first Housefull film, Akshay Kumar played the main role alongside Jiah Khan, Arjun Rampal, Jacqueline Fernandez, Lara Dutta, and Chunky Panday. 2012 saw the release of the franchise’s second film in theaters. Conversely, the release of Housefull 3 and 4 took place in 2016 and 2019, respectively. Tarun Mansukhani will now be directing Housefull 5, which is scheduled to open in theaters on Diwali 2024.
