Box office receipts for Ghilli’s rerelease: Vijay’s movie does well enough throughout the workday

In 2004, the very successful film “Ghilli,” starring Vijay and Trisha, was released in cinemas. On April 20, it was once again released in cinemas, and a large crowd attended. Everyone enjoyed it greatly. It earned more than Rs 15 crore in only 3 days.

However, on Tuesday, April 23, a normal workday, it earned just around 2 crore, according to a Cinetrak report.Fans continued to watch it in the evening and at night to rejoice, even though not many people went to see it during the day.

After being rereleased, “Ghilli” earned a total of Rs 17 crore in 4 days. It has grossed around Rs 68 crore since its 2004 release, including Rs 51 crore from that year. Social media is buzzing with discussion about it, and footage from its re-release is all over the place. Despite being 20 years old, “Ghilli” is now receiving a lot of attention.
The movie’s characters, Trisha and Prakash Raj, are overjoyed by the outpouring of affection from their admirers.

“Ghilli” (directed by Dharani) is a Tamil adaptation of the Telugu film “Okkadu.” However, the Tamil version outperformed the original at the box office.
