Mark Cuban Will Quit Popular Show “Shark Tank” After Season 16

For the last fifteen years, Mark Cuban has been one of the most well-liked sharks on “Shark Tank.” Over time, his perceptions into the world of business and his method of conducting “Shark Tank” shark interviews have gained popularity. His videos of himself going all in and pounding competitors when they are having a rough time have always gone viral. Not to mention how he developed a number of up-and-coming businesses into elite companies with a priceless social responsibility.

But now that years have passed, Mark Cuban has chosen to give up the ghost. According to reports, the next 16th season of “Shark Tank” will be his last one.

Mark Cuban verified the information in an email to The Hollywood Reporter. “I just want to have a couple of summers with my teens before they go off on their own,” he wrote, according to THR. Not related to the program. I adore it. Being on it is awesome. I like what it stands for and how it inspires business owners around.

Prior to THR, Mark Cuban had already announced the news on the Matt Barnes and Stephen Jackson-hosted Showtime podcast “All The Smoke.”

Mark Cuban said on the podcast that he was a fan of the program because it conveys the idea that the American dream is still very much alive and strong. I believe that via hosting “Shark Tank” for so many years, we have taught many generations of business owners that future generations of youngsters will be inspired if someone can go from Iowa, Sacramento, or any other place and appear on the Shark Tank carpet, pitch their company, and get a contract. That’s the situation, correct? People are now coming on claiming that they watched you when they were ten years old. I’m thinking, f*ck. But surely we’re doing them a favor? I’ve made investments in hundreds, if not thousands, of businesses. I’m a little bit down on cash, but the firms are still operating on mark-to-market meetings. I’m very elevated.

It has now been confirmed that he will be taking a few years off the program to spend more time with his family, despite the fact that many had previously assumed he was merely making a casual statement about his time on the show.

For those who don’t know, Mark Cuban appeared as a guest shark on “Shark Tank” during its second season. He has been a regular on the program as one of the main sharks since the third season.
