Day 16 box office receipts for “Aavesham”: The Fahadh film brings in Rs 3.10 crores

“Aavesham,” the most recent action-packed film by Fahadh Faasil, continues to roll at the box office, adding yet another feather to its crown with an incredible Rs 3.10 crores on its sixteenth day of release.

The Sacnilk website reports that in only 16 days of its theatrical run, “Aavesham” had brought in a total of Rs 58 crores at the Indian box office, indicating the film’s broad popularity among viewers.

The movie’s outstanding success is shown by its remarkable occupancy rates in cinemas; on April 26, 2024, Malayalam occupancy was 51.30% overall. The morning showing had an impressive occupancy rate of 30.45%. The afternoon and evening screenings saw a notable increase in occupancy, with rates of 49.21% and 62.09%, respectively. After a successful day of screenings, night shows boasted an impressive 63.44% occupancy rate.

The main character in Jithu Madhavan’s film “Aavesham” is played by Fahadh Faasil, who is backed by a gifted ensemble cast that includes Hipzster, Mithun Jai Shankar, and Roshan Shanavas. In supporting parts, Midhutty, Sajin Gopu, and Mansoor Ali Khan all provide excellent performances in the movie.

Set against the background of Bangalore, the movie chronicles the journey of three teens who end up being involved in a risky situation and turning to a local gangster for help. Much praise has been showered onto Fahadh Faasil for his depiction of the mysterious gangster character, Ranga. Critics have praised his compelling performance and magnetic on-screen presence.
