Divyendu Sharma criticizes his role as “suffocating” and says he won’t appear in Mirzapur 3

The renowned thriller series Mirazapur 3 will not include actor Divyendu Sharma, also known as Munna Bhaiya, as he stated on Monday in an interview with Human of Bombay.

Sharma, who is playing criminal Munna Bhaiya in the forthcoming third installment of Mirzapur, stated that he would not be appearing in the show. Sharma said that playing the character made him feel suffocated.

According to Sharma’s (40) remark, Munna Tripathi’s character was really slain in “Mirzapur 2’s” climactic sequence.

Fans of “Mirzapur” were nonetheless anticipating a big return from the character in the third season, but the actor himself put a stop to this rumor.

“He auditioned for the role of another well-known character, Guddu Pandit, before taking up Munna Bhaiya, but felt Munna’s role much better,” the “Chashme Baddoor” actor said in an interview.

Interestingly, Ali Fazal played Guddu Pandit in both of “Mirzapur’s” seasons.

The first season of Karan Anshuman’s “Mirzapur” launched on November 16, 2018, and it was accessible to watch on Amazon Prime. Among them were Rasika Duggal, Shriya Pilgaonkar, Diyvendu Sharma, Pankaj Tripathi, Ali Fazal, Vikrant Massey, and Shweta Tripathi.

The third season of Mirzapur has not yet been confirmed by the show’s creators, however the second season was available for streaming on October 23, 2023.
