On the occasion of his 72nd birthday, Malayalam actor Dulquer Salmaan wrote a touching letter to his father, the legendary Mammootty. The King of Kotha actor posted a few pictures with Mammootty on Instagram. Dulquer and Mammootty were seen posing near the window in the first monochrome image. Another image showed Mammootty in a natural setting. Dulquer shared the picture with the caption, “I always wanted to be like my ‘Pa’, a man like him, an actor like him, and a father like him.”

“When I was a little lad, you were the kind of guy I aspired to be. You were the actor I aspired to be when I first stepped in front of the camera. You embodied all I wanted to be as a parent. I want to be even half as great as you one day, Pa! I’m sending you birthday greetings. May you constantly amaze, amuse, and inspire people throughout the globe in ways that only you can,” Dulquer added.

In the comment section, actress Kalyani Priyadarshan wrote, “Happy Birthday to one of the cooooolest most bossest people in the world.” Fans flooded the post with affection in the comments area as well. What a frame! read one remark. Never imagined 72 would seem that amazing. Happy birthday, Megastar,” another supporter wished. “Happy birthday, living legend @mammootty ikka,” chimed in a third admirer.
