Following their April 2022 wedding, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor welcomed a baby girl into their family in November of the same year. Raha Kapoor is the daughter of the couple.
Raha has become one of the most adored and sought-after celebrity kids on the block ever since Ranbir and Alia showed her face to the public and the paparazzi.

We were able to get an old video today in which Alia’s cute munchkin was welcomed with congratulations by the shutterbugs, who also responded to her unusual moniker. Alia and her mother, Soni Razdan, are seen stepping out of their vehicle and posing for the cameras in the footage.
“Naam bahut accha hai,” felicitated the actress from one of the paparazzi. Alia reacted by saying, “Bahut accha hai.”

Alia posted a message revealing the name of her newborn daughter: “The name Raha (selected by her wise and amazing Dadi) has so many beautiful connotations. Raha means “divine path” in Swahili, “joy,” “clan” in Sanskrit, “rest, comfort, relief,” and “peace” in Arabic. Raha also means pleasure, liberation, and bliss in Bangla. And true to her name, we felt everything about her from the minute we held her! We are grateful to Raha for giving our family life; it seems like we are just getting started.
