In “Bhagwan Na Kare Koi,” Elvish Yadav talks about spending five nights in jail in a case involving snake venom

Elvish Yadav has said that he was incarcerated for five nights in relation to the snake poison case. The Bigg Boss OTT 2 winner mentioned his stint in jail in a recent YouTube video, where he also addressed a number of fan queries. “All I want to say is, God forbid anyone goes to jail. Bhagwan na kare koi jail jaaye, bas itna hi kehna chahenge,” he screamed.

Elvish Yadav has already discussed his experience in prison in interviews. Yadav referred to his stint in jail as a “very bad phase of his life” in one of his earlier vlogs and thanked everyone who helped him.

“There’s no denying that the week that passed was a really difficult time in my life. What to discuss when I was incarcerated. Let’s begin the next chapter with optimism. Thank you to everyone who supported me even if they didn’t speak favorably or negatively about me. I simply have gratitude for everyone. I’m going back to work,” he said.

The Bigg Boss OTT 2 winner went on to say, “Na hum kuch galat kehte hai, na kuch galat karte hai (Neither do I do nor speak anything wrong)” in order to further demonstrate his faith in the Indian legal system.

For those who don’t know, Elvish Yadav has been in the news a lot lately due to the Noida Snake Venom case. Earlier this year, Noida Police detained the YouTuber. According to them, the charge was filed for criminal conspiracy under Section 120B of the Indian Penal Code and under the Wildlife Protection Act of 1972. Elvish allegedly confessed to his crimes to NDTV a day after his arrest. But no formal declaration was made public.

Yadav was given bail on a $50,000 bail bond one week later. Speaking to the media about the same subject, his attorney, Prashant Rathi said, “Our arguments in this case were that he was falsely accused and that no substance that violated the NDPS Act was obtained from him or his friends.” Elvish Yadav and his two pals have been granted bail by the court, subject to two sureties of Rs 50,000 apiece.
