See Babil Khan’s Journey From Qala To Amitabh Bachchan’s Next Film

Many Bollywood celebrities are considered to have been well-known in the business as a result of coming from a family with a history in cinema. Nepotism is claimed to be the reason why certain celebrities, including Abhishek Bachchan, Tusshar Kapoor, Ananya Pandey, Sara Ali Khan, Agastya Nanda, and Suhana Khan, are in the spotlight. But, there is also a famous child in the business who, despite being the son of a well-known actor, has succeeded in his own right.

This talented young man not only captured the hearts of the audience with his work, but he also honored his late father. The performer in question is none other than Babil Khan, the late Irrfan Khan’s son.

Babil Khan’s Bollywood career began with the release of Qala, an original Netflix film. Anvita Dutt wrote and directed the historical psychological drama movie. Under the Clean Slate Filmz label, Karnesh Sharma produces the movie, which features Babil Khan making his feature debut along with Tripti Dimri and Swastika Mukherjee.

Netflix launched Qala on December 1, 2022. It is somewhat inspired by Amadeus by Miloš Forman and Swathi Kiranam by K. Viswanath. The movie was overwhelmingly successful in the 2023 Filmfare OTT Awards. Qala won Best Production Design (Web Original Film) (Meenal Agarwal) after receiving six nominations, including Best Web Original Film, Best Actress in a Web Original Film (Dimri), and Best Supporting Actress in a Web Original Film (Mukherjee).

The audience gave Babil a lot of credit for his excellent performance. Afterwards, he turned away. He portrayed Siddharth Menon, the son of Juhi Chawla, in the Netflix original movie Friday Night Plan in 2023. Writing and directing the comedy-drama about a coming-of-age is Vatsal Neelakantan. Important parts were also played by Amrith Jayan, Aadhya Anand, Ninad Kamat, Ria Chaudhary, Aditya Jain, and Medha Rana.

He then had a key role with Divyendu Sharma, Kay Kay Menon, and R. Madhavan in the online series The Railway Men on YRF, which was based on the Bhopal Gas Tragedy. Babil Khan is scheduled to appear in The Umesh Chronicles, which is a forthcoming film. Pooja Kaul is the writer and director, and the key protagonists are Aiza Khan, Kriti Panth, Amitabh Bachchan, Leela Samson, and Zayn Marie Khan.
