Shah Rukh Khan reportedly declined to accept payment for The Forgotten Army, according to Kabir Khan.”

Kartik Aaryan is starring in director Kabir Khan’s upcoming movie “Chandu Champion,” which is scheduled for release. Kabir Khan recently praised Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan for his graciousness after the latter agreed to provide a voiceover for his web series “The Forgotten Army” without charging a fee.
Kabir said that he contacted the actor with the suggestion, taking a gamble, and the actor accepted it right away.

In a Mashabale India interview, Kabir recalls considering a conversation with Shah Rukh. “When I made The Forgotten Army, and for those who have watched it, there is a 30-second introduction with voiceover giving you the historical context of that episode,” the director said. When I considered who should tell the story, Shah Rukh Khan sprang to me. I decided to take a chance and gave him a call. I asked, “Shah Rukh, will you voice a series I have made on Azad Hind Fauj?” And without even blinking, he said, “Of course,” once again.

“He just came to the dubbing studio in Bandra,” he continued. He provided the voiceover at no cost. He declined to accept payment. We’ve known one another for a long time, and he’s always been very kind and giving with his devotion, which is why he did it. It was very unique. I’ve known him since before he ever entered the business. Gauri and I were pals.

In the course of the discussion, Kabir also offered an intriguing narrative about the independence warrior Meer Taj Mohammed Khan, the father of Shah Rukh. Shah Rukh Khan’s father had a strong relationship with General Shah Nawaz Khan, one of the generals of Netaji’s Azad Hind Fauj, according to Kabir. Among the best generals was him. Thus, SRK and Azad Hind Fauj are connected.
The narrative of “The Forgotten Army” centres on the Indian National Army, often referred to as Azad Hind Fauj. Sunny Kaushal, Sharvari Wagh, Karanvir Malhotra, and a number of other actors feature in the movie. The show, which is directed by Kabir Khan, is based on actual events between the men and women of the Indian National Army (INA), under the command of Subhash Chandra Bose, who collaborated with the Japanese.
