‘The Princess Diaries 3’ development, according to Anne Hathaway: We’re doing well

According to actress Anne Hathaway, “The Princess Diaries” is going to have a third chapter. The 41-year-old actress, who most recently acted in “The idea of You” with Nicholas Galitzine, said in an interview with V magazine that the project is “in a good place” even if she is unable to provide any details.

“We’re doing well,” she said. “I can only say that.Nothing new to share just yet. But things are going well for us.

In the two earlier movies, the actress played princess Mia Thermopolis.
The Princess Diaries was a 2001 film directed by Meg Cabot that had a sequel called “The Princess Diaries 2: Royal Engagement” released in 2004 under the direction of Garry Marshall.

A number of other films have featured Hathaway, such as “Ella Enchanted,” “Dark Waters,” “Alice in Wonderland,” “The Hustle,” “The Intern,” and her most recent, “The Idea of You,” which is helmed by Michael Showalter and centers on a forty-year-old woman who develops feelings for the twenty-four-year-old band singer.
