When Rekha discussed remarriage after Mukesh Aggarwal’s death

Rekha’s private life often comes up for debate online. Since erroneous online rumors about the legendary Bollywood actress’ ‘live-in’ relationship with her assistant Farzana first appeared, she has been making headlines. After the passing of her businessman-husband Mukesh Aggarwal in 1990, Rekha never remarried, although her private life was often discussed in the media.

Rekha married Delhi-based businessman Mukesh Aggarwal in March 1990, but he sadly committed himself seven months later. At one time, Rekha was also romantically related to Amitabh Bachchan. Rekha revealed her intentions to get remarried when she appeared on Simi Garewal’s program Rendezvous with Simi Garewal in 2004.

Rekha questioned Simi, “You mean with a man?” when she inquired whether she would be married again. Simi said, “Well, obviously not a woman,” to that. Then Rekha said, “Why not?” “In my mind, I am married to myself, my profession, and my loved ones,” she said. I’m not a pessimist by nature.

When Simi stated, “If a woman feels safe, man has given her the sense of security,” Rekha cut her off and said, “Not necessarily, it has got nothing to do with a guy. It is related to who she is as a person.

Rekha and Vinod Mehra discussed her wedding rumors on the same show. Simi questioned Rekha, “You married Vinod Mehra in 1973.” “Pardon me? Rekha said, a little irritated, “Excuse me. Simi persisted in pleading with her for a response, however. “You wed him, right? For two months, you didn’t get married to him? Asked Simi.

“No. You mean, like when I was married to Faruq Abdullah? No, anything may be said. You enquire of me? Simi was taken aback when Rekha answered, “But I don’t want to (answer), it is not essential. “Vinod Mehra was always a well-wisher, and he was always very, very close to me,” Rekha said.
