While bestowing the “Mahashtrian Of The Year” honor to his son Ranbir Kapoor, Jeetendra recalls “Jigri Yaar” Rishi Kapoor

‘Animal’ proved to be Ranbir Kapoor’s greatest success of 2023. The movie continued to perform very well at the box office. But it received a lot of criticism along with conflicting reviews. However, Ranbir’s performance was applauded by everybody. Veteran actor Jeetendra was requested to deliver the “Mahashtrian Of The Year” trophy to Ranbir after he won it.

During his address, Jeetendra spoke about his close friendship with Ranbir’s father, Rishi Kapoor.”You’re giving this award to Ranbir, who is the son of my very dear friend,” he said. Thus, the first step is to determine which of the two is true. My son, my wife, and my daughter were directing me. In any case, I simply wanted to mention that Rishi Kapoor ke bete ko yeh award mila hai, mera sab kuch,’mere lagte Jigar’, ‘Jigri yaar’, ke mere khushi hai. “Aur aaj woh jahan pahuncha hai woh uski mehnat hai (I am incredibly happy that my best friend, Rishi Kapoor’s son, is receiving this award; he has worked very hard to get to this point in his life).”

When Ranbir heard this, he smiled broadly. Following the ceremony, Ranbir gave a brief statement in which he stated his three life goals: the first is to just focus on his profession and never give up. He said that Mukesh Ambani gave him instructions to just keep working and not allow success or failure enter his mind. Second, he said, he strives to be a decent brother, spouse, parent, son, and human being. Ranbir’s third and most crucial priority is to be a decent citizen of the nation.
