A horrible occurrence is captured on camera when a football player in Indonesia dies after being struck by lightning during a match

On Sunday, January 11, a football match in Indonesia took a terrible turn when a FLO FC Bandung player was hit by lightning. The sportsman met an unpleasant and sudden end on the spot as a consequence of the catastrophic tragedy.

The football player is seen strolling around the pitch in a video that has gone viral, waiting for the ball to come. The other players stare in shock as the player falls on the field due to an unexpected lightning strike.

The athlete was sent to the hospital, but sadly, according to sources, he did not survive and was pronounced dead.

Local sources state that the event took place during a friendly football game between FBI Subang and FLO FC Bandung at Siliwangi Stadium in Bandung, West Java. The field was the scene of the sad event.

There have previously been similar incidents during football games. Another sad incident occurred in December of last year when a lightning bolt hit a football field in Brazil. One player lost their life as a result, while six others were hurt. After collapsing on the pitch, the 21-year-old football player was taken to the hospital right away, but subsequently passed away from his wounds.
