Following Aaron Bushnell’s killing, thousands of people demonstrate outside the Israeli Embassy in Washington, DC

Thousands of people can be seen gathering near the Israeli Embassy, where Aaron Bushnell set himself on fire one week ago, according to viral footage. Many of them may be seen during the march on Sunday, March 2, holding banners that read “Free Palestine.”

At a memorial for Bushnell, US servicemen were seen burning their uniforms in a previously popular video on X. In the video, individuals were burning their uniforms as a big banner with the words “Veterans say: Free Palestine!” was shown behind them. Recall Aaron Bushnell.

In front of the Israeli Embassy in Washington, DC, Bushnell set himself on fire.In a video he uploaded before to his death, Bushnell gave an explanation of his motivations for carrying out his plan. “My name is Aaron Bushnell, I am an active-duty member of the United States Air Force and I will no longer be complicit in genocide,” he said. “I’m about to carry out an extreme act of protest, but it’s not at all severe in comparison to what people in Palestine have been going through at the hands of their colonizers. This is what the people in power have determined would be typical.

The footage of the fatal occurrence that Bushnell live aired on Twitch was subsequently removed. According to reports, the video showed him approaching the Israeli embassy and dousing himself with liquid. Then, as he continued to yell “Free Palestine,” he lit himself on fire.

The Texas native, 25, was from San Antonio. According to the Metropolitan Police Department in Washington, he passed away on Sunday, February 25.
