“Tiniest invasion” will provoke a fierce reaction: Iran

Iran threatened to retaliate for even the “tiniest” assault of its land with a “massive and harsh” retaliation, even as Israel considers how to respond to Iran’s drone and missile strike.

In the meanwhile, Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi cautioned Israel against taking any revenge while speaking at an annual army parade that had been moved from its customary route to a barracks and was not shown live on state television, apparently due to concerns that it would be attacked.

Raisi said that Saturday’s strike was contained and that “nothing would remain from the Zionist regime” if Iran had intended to launch a larger assault, according to statements reported by the country’s official news agency, IRNA. The Israeli rescue organization Magen David Adom reports that 13 people were injured in a missile strike by Lebanon’s Hezbollah on a border town in northern Israel on Wednesday, adding to the already high level of tensions. The terrorist organization claimed that attack was in retaliation for Israeli raids on Lebanon the previous day that claimed the lives of many of its militants, including a leader.

In reaction to what seemed to be an Israeli raid on Iran’s embassy complex in Syria on April 1 that claimed the lives of 12 individuals, including two Iranian generals, Iran fired hundreds of missiles and drones against Israel over the weekend.
