“Trump Hates Latinos”: Biden Seek Vital Assistance From Important Community

As US President Joe Biden attempted to shore up support among a critical population in the key states of Nevada and Arizona on Tuesday, his opponent Donald Trump was accused by the incumbent of hating Latinos.

According to polls, the traditionally Democratic Latino population is beginning to move more and more in favor of Republican Trump, which might be problematic for Biden in swing states that he must win again in November in order to win a second term.

In an interview that aired on Tuesday, Biden said to Spanish-language station Univision, “I mean, this guy despises Latinos.”

He emphasized the frequent use of anti-immigrant language by the previous president, Trump, including claims that immigrants are “poisoning the blood of the country” and that, should he win, he will carry out mass deportations.

Biden said, “Latinos were essential to my win in 2020 and they’ll be essential again.” “I’m putting in a lot of effort to win their vote.”

Biden was scheduled to introduce a unique campaign named “Latinos con Biden-Harris”—Latinos with Biden and his Vice President Kamala Harris—with a significant television ad blitz during his three-day trip west, which started in Nevada on Tuesday.

In addition, the 81-year-old is touting his business background and emphasizing themes that Democrats think would appeal to Latino voters, such as immigration and abortion.

Declaring that Trump had an “anti-Latino agenda,” Biden’s campaign manager, Julie Chavez Rodriguez, said in a statement, “The Latino vote was critical to the president’s victory in 2020, and 2024 will be no different.”

Biden was in Nevada, visiting the gaming meccas of Reno and Las Vegas for a lecture on housing expenses and a campaign event.

In Las Vegas, Biden attempted to refute the former president’s assertions that Americans had it better under Trump.

People often tell me how depressed they were in 2020 as I tour the nation. In the address, Biden said, “They lost their business and their faith in the system.”

“But the laws we passed and the work we did together got them back on their feet,” he said. There is still so much to accomplish. Too many individuals still believe that owning a nice house is unattainable, despite their dreams. I understand.

Afterwards, Biden was scheduled to take a plane to Phoenix, Arizona, for the Tuesday night launch of the Latino campaign and the Wednesday manufacturing announcement.

Tight race

Four years earlier, in their first contest, the Grand Canyon state race was the closest, with Biden defeating Trump by a mere 10,457 votes, or 0.3 percentage points.

Finally, on Wednesday and Thursday, Biden will fly to Dallas and Houston, both in Texas, for fundraising activities.

Democratic candidate Joe Biden is behind the 77-year-old Trump in a number of crucial swing states, including Arizona and Nevada, which will likely determine their rematch on November 5.

The diverse Latino electorate is leaning more Republican in spite of Trump’s unrelenting anti-immigrant rhetoric, which included claims that drug dealers and “rapists” were entering the US from Mexico.

When Biden defeated Trump in 2020, Hispanic people supported him two to one, but according to a number of recent surveys, this affinity is beginning to wane.

Especially in the border state of Arizona, many of them are second-generation migrants who are especially alarmed by the situation on the Mexican border.

Biden has an issue since the rapidly expanding Latino group now makes up 19% of the US population.

Since each of them was officially confirmed as their party’s candidates this month, Biden has significantly increased his assaults on Trump, who is attempting a historic return to the White House.

But there are issues with Trump’s campaign as well. The Republican faces having his assets taken after his attorneys acknowledged he lacks the funds to challenge a $464 million fine for misrepresenting his fortune falsely.
