A movie based on J.K. Rowling’s children’s novel The Christmas Pig is being developed

A movie based on the well-known children’s book The Christmas Pig by author J.K. Rowling is in the works. According to rumors, a production firm has not yet been assigned to the idea, which is still in its very early stages.

The adult detective series Cormoran Strike is already produced by Rowling’s production firm Bronte for BBC and HBO.

2021 saw the release of The Christmas Pig, which included drawings by Jim Field. In the novel, Jack, the boy’s stepsister tosses his childhood toy Dur Pig, also known as DP, out of the family vehicle on Christmas Eve, and Jack loses it.
