GATE 2024 Toppers Announced: Three Applicants Take First Place in Electrical Engineering

The list of Graduate Aptitude Test Exam (GATE) 2024 top scorers has been made public by the Indian Institute of Sciences (IISC) in Bangalore. This time, three candidates in the Electrical Engineering category received the All India Rank 1 ranking. With a combined total of 77 points out of 100, Manoj Kumar Singh, Shivam, and Sai Kiran have all been crowned the winners. In the same way, two students, Deepak and Bhanu Pratap Singh, were crowned the exam’s top scorers in civil engineering with 87.33 points. Their respective GATE scores are 989 and 1000.

Piyush Kumar scored 1000 out of 1000 on the GATE test and received 90 points in computer science and information technology. The other top performers are Himanshu Papanai in Chemistry, Anurag Singh in Physics, Prateek Sherke in Agricultural Engineering, Sanjeev C. Achar in Biomedical Engineering, Himanshu Samal in Mechanical Engineering, Adarsh Rai in Chemical Engineering, and Sinchan Sinigdha Adhikari in Statistics. They have all achieved a score of 1000.

The test took place on February 3, 4, 10, and 11, and on March 16, the results were released. Between March 23, 2024, and May 31, 2024, candidates who have achieved scores in their individual examinations that are equal to or higher than the qualifying marks for the SC, ST, and PwD categories will be able to obtain their scorecards for free from the GATE site. On the other hand, applicants would be able to get their scorecards after June 1, 2024, for a charge of Rs 500, until December 31, 2024. The scorecards will no longer be accessible after January 1, 2025.

IIT Kanpur has released the major rounds of the GATE Common Offer Acceptance Portal (COAP) allocation schedule for 2024. Today is scheduled to be the start of the counseling procedure. Registration will open for business at 2:00 PM today, March 19. The Centralized Counseling for MTech (CCMT) and the Common Offer Acceptance Portal (COAP) oversee the counseling process for admission to M.Tech. programs via GATE 2024. Admissions counseling for M.Tech programs at IITs is managed by COAP, while admissions counseling for NITs, IIITs, GFTIs, and CFTIs is handled by CCMT.
