Even though Dattaraj comes from one of the most well-known families in India, his interests go well beyond business. With degrees from Wharton Business School, Bombay University, and VJTI, he is a scholar and a prominent figure in sports administration, having held prestigious roles in the BCCI and the Goa Cricket Association.

Dattaraj is a driving force behind the VM Salgaocar Corporation, spearheading its many interests in real estate, education, and finance. He is also passionate about animal protection and photography.
