Microsoft is the most valuable corporation in the world, according to sources, with a market capitalization of $3.125 trillion (more than Rs 25900000 crore) last week. With a market capitalization of $3.09 trillion, Apple had previously held the record, but Microsoft’s valuation exceeded that figure. Satya Nadella, the CEO of Microsoft, has played a major role in the company’s ascent to the top of the valuation hierarchy. Let’s examine this 56-year-old Indian engineer who is in charge of the most valuable firm in the world.

Satya Nadella, the CEO of the world’s most valuable firm, is an Indian-born businessman who began his career in Hyderabad. His estimated net worth is Rs 7500 crore, and he makes $49 million a year in pay. Indians are still very much at the forefront of innovation in many fields, including business, politics, technology, fashion, and more.

Born in Hyderabad, southern India, on August 19, 1967, Satya Narayana Nadella grew up there. He obtained his B.Sc. in 1988 from Mangalore University, where he finished his undergraduate studies in electrical engineering. After that, he relocated to the United States, where he studied computer science master’s degree at the University of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, which he finished in 1990.

Satya Nadella married Anupama Nadella, whose father was reportedly Satya Nadella’s IAS batchmate, the same year he joined Microsoft. Anupama is the daughter of an IAS official.

Nadella helped create Windows NT, a platform mostly meant for corporate customers, when he first joined Microsoft in 1992. He was appointed corporate vice president of Microsoft Business Solutions a few years later. When he was appointed senior vice president of research and development for the internet services segment of the corporation in 2007, his role grew. He oversaw the development of the cloud computing infrastructure that underpinned a number of Microsoft services, such as Office 365 subscription service, Xbox Live gaming network, Bing, and others. As a result, he was appointed CEO of Microsoft in 2014.
