Perfect locations for a romantic trip, from street to palace

The lush Mangalavanam Bird Sanctuary is a great place to be at one with nature. The location is in the city’s center and is a sensitive natural region. A small tidal lake that is related to the backwaters is also located there.

Another location that expert tour guide Ajay Kumar mentioned was the area next to Fort Kochi’s Koder House. “The area features a structure akin to a gate, and it has emerged as a popular spot for couples to take pictures,” he explains. Chinese fishing nets are one of Kochi’s main attractions. According to Ajay, “there is very little atmosphere that these fishing nets can create when it comes to creating magical moments.” He continues, “It’s a scene out of a fairy tale, with the setting sun against the Chinese nets.”

The beaches come next. The beaches in Cherai, Fort Kochi, Munambam, and Kuzhupilly are ideal for a Valentine’s Day excursion. Historical sites like Jew Town and Mattancherry Palace provide an excursion a distinct cultural flavor. The latter has grown to be a popular location for engagement and post-wedding portraits. The street’s vintage appeal creates an atmosphere fit for a postcard.
