Residents of Jamnagar Show Love and Blessings for Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant Anna Seva

On Wednesday, Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant were the center of attention as the Ambani family hosted Anna Seva to begin the couple’s pre-wedding celebrations in Jamnagar, Gujarat, from March 1–3.

Videos from the occasion reveal that Anant and Radhika, who are both dressed in traditional garb, get blessings from the people of Jorvad village in Jamnagar as they bend down in reverence and accept all the love that is being shown to them.

On Wednesday, the hamlet next to Reliance Township looked joyful as Radhika Merchant, Mukesh Ambani, Anant Ambani, and other Ambani family members fed the locals traditional Gujarati cuisine.

Viren and Shaila Merchant, Radhika’s parents, as well as her maternal grandmother, participated in the Anna Seva. Approximately 51,000 locals will get food service, and this will go on for a few days.

Following the lunch, guests were treated to traditional folk music, with well-known Gujarati vocalist Kirtidan Gadhvi stealing the show.

The ancient Indian proverb “Manav seva hi Madhav seva”β€””Service to humanity is service to God”β€”is upheld by the Ambani family. In keeping with this idea, they have continued the family custom of starting all significant events by feeding and tending to others and reaffirming their dedication to the neighborhood.

The world’s biggest food distribution program was managed by the Reliance Foundation, which was led by Anant Ambani’s mother Nita Ambani, even during the Covid-19 outbreak. Pre-wedding events were initiated by Anant Ambani with Anna Seva, carrying on the family tradition.

The residents were informed by a grinning Mukesh Ambani, “We have started Anant and Radhika’s wedding rituals from Jamnagar itself.” Since the past 30 years, my mother and I have been making our town proud across the globe. My mother is also from Jamnagar. I appreciate your kind greeting, everyone. Enjoy your joyous feast.

Day 1 of the pre-wedding celebration on March 1-3 is titled An Evening in Everland, and the dress code is “elegant cocktail.” A Walk on the Wildside is scheduled for Day 2, and “jungle fever” is the recommended attire. There will be two activities on the last day as well. The first one, Tusker Trails, advises “casual chic” attire since visitors are anticipated to go further into Jamnagar’s verdant atmosphere. Hastakshar, the last celebration, demands a formal evening dressed in traditional Indian attire.
