Schools Are Aware of Free NCERT Online Courses Available on the SWAYAM Portal for Classes 11 and 12 by CBSE

NEW DELHI: The National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) is offering online courses for Classes 11 and 12 on the Study Webs of Active Learning for Young Aspiring Minds (SWAYAM) platform. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has written to the principals of its affiliated schools regarding this.
The Ministry of Education (MoE), Government of India, developed the SWAYAM platform, which provides Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) intended to improve students’ learning opportunities.

For Classes 11 and 12, NCERT is offering online courses in numerous cycles on the SWAYAM site that cover a variety of disciplines.
NCERT is offering 28 online courses for Classes 11 and 12 in the 13th cycle. Accountancy, Business Studies, Biology, Chemistry, Economics, Geography, Mathematics, Physics, Psychology, English, and Sociology are among the eleven disciplines included in these courses.
The time frame for these courses is April 22, 2024–September 30, 2024. The courses are now accepting registrations, which end on September 1, 2024.

How to Enroll in Online NCERT Classes 10 and 12 on SWAYAM
Step 1: Create an account at https://swayam.gov.in
Step 2: Click the course link to access the course.
Step 3: Sign up for a free course enrollment.
Step 4: Acquire knowledge of the material and finish all the tasks.
Step 5: Complete the last exam to get certified

All students may access the engaging, carefully chosen courses on SWAYAM MOOCs for free. These programs are taught by some of the most renowned instructors in the nation.

SWAYAM’s course offerings are divided into four main quadrants:

Engaging video lectures that promote efficient learning are known as video lectures.

Specifically designed Reading Materials: These are easily downloadable and printable, making them available for use in offline learning environments.

Tools for Self-Assessment: Quizzes and exams for self-assessment allow students to determine their level of comprehension.

Online discussion forums: These provide a forum where students may ask mentors for clarification, participate in conversations, and ask peers questions, all of which support interactive learning.
Through these courses, NCERT is dedicated to reaching students, improving their educational experiences, and eventually helping them to meet the targeted learning objectives.
