3 peddlers are apprehended after 5 kilogram of heroin was found in Amritsar

Along with an interstate firearm smuggling ring, the police claimed to have disrupted a cross-border narcotics cartel headed by a drug dealer headquartered in the United States with the arrest of three individuals. Police in Madhya Pradesh have seized 5 kilograms of heroin and weapons that were being smuggled in.

The drug trafficker was identified as Gurpreet Kumar, alias Deep, of New Shanti Nagar Bhajwara, Hoshiarpur. He had connections to another trafficker operating out of the US, Jasmeet Singh, alias Lucky. A MUV that was being used to sell heroin has been seized by the police.

According to Gurpreet Bhullar, Commissioner of Police, Gurpreet was apprehended by the police from Kajikot village on Chabal road, where they took the contraband from him. He revealed during interrogation that Jasmeet had instructed them to receive the package from over the border.
