Amit Shah: Modi prevented the NC, PDP, and Congress from staging fictitious encounters

Union Home Minister Amit Shah said on Tuesday that Prime Minister Narendra Modi was the one who put an end to the phony encounters and brought peace to the Valley, accusing the National Conference (NC), the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), and the Congress of doing so during their administrations.

Shah was speaking at a public gathering in support of Jugal Kishore Sharma, the BJP candidate running for the Jammu Lok Sabha seat, who is hoping to win a hat-trick this time.

“I want Kashmir’s youth to know that they have been taken advantage of by these three parties.” I would want to question Farooq Abdullah and the PDP about when the majority of these staged encounters occurred, who shot Kashmiri young, and who gave Kashmiri youth firearms. He said, “Narendra Modi put an end to terrorism and bogus encounters.

Shah reiterated the position of his party, saying that Jammu and Kashmir Assembly elections will take place by September 30, 2024, as per the Supreme Court’s directive.

Shah said that his party was not in a rush and that the lotus will blossom in the Valley when the party receives support from Kashmiris, hinting that the BJP may not run for three seats in the Kashmir division. “I want to inform Kashmir’s youth that there are some spreading false information claiming that we want to seize the Valley. We belong to the group that wins hearts, not the one that captures them,” he said. Despite the fact that the nomination process has begun and will conclude on April 19, the party has not yet revealed its nominee for the Anantnag LS seat in Kashmir. On May 7, the seat will be put to vote.

Shah urged the Valley’s citizens to support anybody they want, but not the three family-centric political figures Farooq (Abdullah), Mehbooba (Mufti), and Sonia (Gandhi), who only care about their offspring, not you.

Shah also poked fun at Mehbooba, claiming that it was she who had previously informed people that no one would be able to raise the Tricolour in the event that Article 370 was repealed. He said that the hands that used to throw stones and take part in strikes now held computers.

“J&K is on the road to growth and enjoys peace thanks to PM Narendra Modi. The agitations have subsided,” he said.

Party steadfast in implementing UCC

Shah claims that the prime minister has promised to model the nation’s unified civil code (UCC) after Uttarakhand’s. This is at Kotdwar, Uttarakhand.
He points out that the leaders of the Bharatiya Jana Sangh have promised that there would not be any laws in this nation based on religion since the party’s founding.
Shah draws attention to Congress’s “failure” to bring important projects to the state and asserts that increasing tourism is necessary to halt the outflow of Uttarakhand’s young.
