Anand’s resignation demonstrates that the BJP is determined to overthrow the government: AAP

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) said today that the BJP was really stealing its MLAs in Delhi, as predicted. Raaj Kumar Anand, a cabinet minister in the Delhi government, resigned on Wednesday from both his main AAP membership and his post after an ED raid that lasted for 23 hours in November 2023.

Senior AAP leader and Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh informed reporters in response to his abrupt resignation that it was now established that the BJP had detained Chief Minister Kejriwal with the goal of dismantling the AAP.

“We have said from the beginning that the aim of ED measures is to overthrow the AAP-led governments in Delhi and Punjab, not to uncover corruption. Every AAP minister and MLA is now put to the test of whether they would be remembered for their courage or cowardice, he added.

Cabinet Minister Saurabh Bharadwaj restated the “actual” reason for Kejriwal’s incarceration. He said that Anand’s departure demonstrated the BJP-led Center’s intention to destroy the AAP.

Ramveer Singh Bidhuri, the BJP’s South Delhi LS candidate and Leader of the Opposition in the Delhi Assembly, said that the AAP’s credibility had declined to the point that their own minister, Anand, had resigned from both the party and the Cabinet.

Virendra Sachdeva, the president of the Delhi BJP, said that Anand’s departure marked the beginning of the end of the tale about Kejriwal deceiving the people of Delhi, a story he started in 2011 with the Anna Andolan.

Tihar authorities say Kejriwal has put on one kilogram.

On Wednesday, the officials at Tihar Jail said that Kejriwal had gained weight since his arrival. According to the AAP, his blood sugar levels have increased in the meantime. When Kejriwal arrived on April 1, his weight went up from 65 kg to 66 kg, according to the prison administration. In addition, on April 7 and 8, his blood pressure readings were 130/86 and 136/72, respectively. His blood sugar levels, however, have been rising since his arrival; on April 1, they were 139; on April 2, they were 182, and on April 3, they were 140.
