AP: Parent-teacher meeting is postponed
“There is a slight change in the activities to be taken on the last day of the academic year, that is, April 23,” said Praveen Prakash, principal secretary for school education.
“This adjustment pertains to the originally scheduled parent-teachers meeting, which will now be rescheduled to June 12, the day of school reopening for the academic year 2024-2025,” he said in a news statement on Wednesday.
Following this change, all District Education Officers (DEOs) are encouraged to review the revised guidelines and forward them to all Headmasters (HMs) under their supervision.
The instruction makes it clear that there will be no parent-teacher conferences on April 23; instead, the whole day will be devoted to handing out report cards to pupils. The parent-teacher conference has been postponed in an effort to improve administrative procedures.
