At a store that sells religious artifacts, thieves attack

Early on Wednesday, thieves broke into a store in the popular Saidan Gate market that sold articles of worship.

Cash and valuables were allegedly taken by the thieves, who broke the grill before bursting through the shop’s rooftop.

When the police arrived on the scene and began their investigation, they had received information.

The owner of RS Exotics, Surinder, said that upon opening the store this morning, he discovered the cash box and drawers had been plundered. The shop’s major locks were still in place, but things were strewn all over the place. The precise amount lost is yet unknown.

According to the authorities, the shop’s installed CCTV cameras were not in use. To identify the culprits, they were examining the CCTV video from adjacent cameras, however.
