Congress does not have the resources to win the Telangana CM’s segments: S Niranjan Reddy, a former minister

In the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, former minister S. Niranjan Reddy challenged the Congress to win five seats from Telangana. Niranjan Reddy responded to AICC General Secretary KC Venugopal’s remarks that the BRS was nonexistent in Telangana and that the grand old party’s battle is with the BJP by stating that the Congress lacks the resources necessary to confront and overcome the saffron party. He went on to say that Venugopal has no empathy for the people of Telangana.

Speaking to reporters here, Niranjan Reddy challenged the Congress to win Mahbubnagar, the CM’s home constituency, Chevella, which Revanth is in charge of, and Malkajgiri, which was represented in the Lok Sabha by Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy.

In addition, Niranjan Reddy noted that the Congress administration had reinstated water tankers and blamed the state’s current water issue on the grand old party. He said that improper irrigation project management was a Congress failure.

“Ministers and the chief minister are too busy to visit farmers whose crops were harmed by government incompetence.” Niranjan Reddy said that the Congress administration need to carry out its pledge to provide a quintal bonus of Rs 500 for crops, as made during the Assembly elections.
