On Wednesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi pledged to work nonstop till 2047, blaming Congress for stalling the region’s development and claiming that the growth of the northeast is the greatest example of the Modi promise being fulfilled.

Speaking at an election rally in lower Assam’s Nalbari, Modi said that his administration had achieved in 10 years what the Congress could not in sixty.

As part of his pledge to put the welfare of the populace first, Prime Minister Modi unveiled a number of audacious plans, including the building of three crore dwellings under the Prime Minister Awas Yojana and the Ayushman card, which would cover the cost of free healthcare for anybody over 70.

He also reiterated the government’s commitment to economic empowerment, saying that three crore women will be become “lakhpatis.”

Modi highlighted the building of more than 2500 km of roads in Assam and the impending opening of a cutting-edge semiconductor facility, which is expected to turn Assam into a center for the industry, as examples of his administration’s accomplishments.

Making reference to the legendary Surya Tilak ritual of Lord Ram at Ayodhya, Modi emphasized the significance of this occasion, which marks the end of a five-century wait.

In his speech, Modi restated the achievements of his administration and reinforced his prior pledge of a “Modi Guarantee.”

As he began his campaign trip in Assam, Modi stopped in Guwahati for a lively roadshow and was scheduled to speak at a rally in Agartala later that day.
