Elections to the Lok Sabha in 2024: First phase polling is moderate

A modest 62% of voters cast ballots in the first round of the Lok Sabha elections, which took place on Friday and included 102 seats spread across 21 states and Union Territories. It is anticipated that the number will increase after data from every polling place is received.
